The announcement was made in a statement issued by Magdalene Ajani, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Interior.

This holiday forms part of the seven days of national mourning declared by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to pay tribute to Buhari’s legacy and service to the nation.
