The West African Examinations Council has officially released the results of the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2026 First Series.
In a statement shared on X on Friday, the council announced that candidates who sat for the examination can access their results within 12 hours.
WAEC stated that the prompt release of the results demonstrates its commitment to enhancing service delivery through technology and efficient examination procedures.
The council also expressed gratitude to stakeholders for their support in ensuring the smooth conduct of the examination.
“The result of CB-WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2026–First Series has been released. Candidates can access their results within the next 12 hours.
“Our thanks to all stakeholders for cooperating with us to achieve this feat.”
The CB-WASSCE, conducted for private candidates, is part of WAEC’s ongoing efforts to modernize its examination system and improve the candidate experience through computer-based testing.
Candidates are advised to check their results via the official WAEC platforms once they become available.
