On Saturday evening, a block of flats at the Sango Police Barracks in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, fell.
It is unclear whether individuals are trapped under the rubble or if injuries have been reported. Residents in the area, on the other hand, are stepping their attempts to evacuate the rubble and search for trapped individuals and survivors.

Attempts to reach the officials of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ibadan and the Oyo State Police Command for comments on the incident were unsuccessful as none of the calls were picked or returned.
