Five years after tying the knot officially with her colleague, Offset, American rapper, Belcalis Almanzar, popularly known as Cardi B, has announced plans for her upcoming wedding ceremony.
On September 20, 2017, the pair secretly wed and after considerable public speculation, Cardi B affirmed the rumor in June 2018.
She posted a photo of the secret event, where she was dressed in a white tracksuit and held her husband’s hand, on the occasion of their one-year wedding anniversary.
On the other hand, the Bodak Yellow rapper has disclosed her preparations for a wedding ceremony as the couple’s union celebrated its fifth anniversary on Monday.
“5 years married, its time for my wedding,” she tweeted on her Twitter account on Monday.
The couple’s relationship has experienced a number of storms, despite the fact that they are without a doubt one of the most romantic in Hollywood.
Only a few months after their wedding in 2017, Offset’s infidelity was made public. After Offset made public appeals, the pair reunited in January 2019 after divorcing in December 2018.
Cardi B filed for divorce in September 2020 giving explanations for their breakup and denying reports that Offset had cheated once more. She stated that they were just no longer “seeing things eye to eye.” However, the pair made up once more in November of that same year.
Cardi B and Offset have two children, Wave, age 1, and Kulture, age 4.
