Conferment of SANship: Oyetola, Osun APC chairman congratulate K-RAD, Ogala, Akinosun
Encomiums have been pouring in far and near for Mr Kunle Rasheed Adegoke (K-RAD), an erudite lawyer and former gubernatorial candidate in Osun State on his elevation to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) by the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee, LLPC on Friday.
Amongst the notable well wishers are Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola and chairman of the Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Gboyega Famodun.
Oyetola in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, also congratulated a former National Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Babatunde Ogala, and Oladapo Akinosun who were also conferred with the SAN title.
The governor said he was excited by the elevation of the three eminent legal practitioners, noting that they were all deserving of the honour as they had demonstrated professionalism and high level of integrity, and contributed to the growth of the legal profession in Nigeria.
“On behalf of the Government and the good people of Osun, I felicitate a worthy son of Osun, Kunle Rasheed Adegoke, on his elevation to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) by the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee, LLPC.
“I also congratulate a former National Legal Adviser of our party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Mr. Babatunde Ogala, and Oladapo Akinosun who were also awarded with the prestigious SAN title.
“I am happy for the trio for this milestone achievement of reaching the peak of the legal profession. Over the years, they have all proved to be agents of social re-engineering and have demonstrated high level of professionalism and integrity. They have also contributed to the growth of the legal profession in Nigeria.
“I have no doubt that this well-deserved honour will spur them and others who have been conferred with the SAN rank, to continue to reach for greater heights,” Oyetola said.
In a similar vein, the Osun State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Gboyega Famodun, congratulated K-RAD for attaining the pinnacle of his legal profession as a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
In a statement issued by his Media Consultant, Kola Olabisi, in Osogbo on Sunday, Famodun stated that it was a thing of joy that the erudite lawyer was reaping the benefits of his ceaseless professional hard work by his new status.
The state party chairman explained further that he wasn’t supprised at the new achievement of K-RAD as his closeness to him has revealed that he is loaded and imbued with wherewithals to excel in the legal profession.
Famodun enjoined the youths in the society to learn from the professional attainment of K-RAD that with determination, there’s no aspiration that cannot be accomplished.
He stated that the new SAN is an embodiment of hard work, humility and goal-getting who has secured for his state an enviable image through his professional excellence as one of the new silks in Nigeria.
According to Famodun, “by all standards, K-RAD is one of our illustrious sons who has been adding value to the image of our state among the comity of states in this country.
“It’s on record that he has fought and won many battles through the exemplary mastery of his chosen profession without let or hindrance.
“We owe him a duty to continue to remember him in our daily prayers for divine guidance and protection in and outside the performance of his official duty.
“Our youths too should learn a very good lesson from the professional attainment of our man who has added to the negligible number of SANs in our state.
“In my capacity as the chairman of our party in Osun State, on behalf of my family and the entire stakeholders of the APC, I am joining your numerous wellwishers to felicitate with you on your elevation to the highest legal status of SANship in this country”, he said.
