On Wednesday, an Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court remanded Dr Olufemi Olaleye, 57, of the Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, for alleged defilement of his wife’s 16-year-old niece.
Justice Ramon Oshodi of an Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court on Wednesday remanded the Medical Director of Optimal Cancer Care Foundation, Dr Femi Olaleye, for alleged defilement of his16 year-old wife’s niece (name withheld).
Oshodi ordered that the defendant be remanded in Ikoyi Correctional Centre pending the perfection of his bail.
He is charged with two-count charge of child defilement and sexual assault by penetration filed by the Lagos State Government against him.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge preferred against him and was granted bail of N50m with two sureties in like sum.
