The Defence Headquarters has revealed a names of the 17 military soldiers killed in an incident in Delta State.
Last week, military servicemen were slain in Okuama, a hamlet in Delta State’s Ughelli South Local Government Area, on a peace mission.
Days after the heinous murder, the Defence Headquarters announced that 17 people were killed, including the Commanding Officer of the 181 Amphibious Battalion, two majors, one captain, and 12 battalion members.
“May The Souls of the Departed Rest In Peace,” the Nigerian Army wrote on its X handle alongside a photo collage of the personnel on Monday evening.
The Defence Headquarters gave the names of those killed as:
