Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has floated a live band in the wake of the political turmoil in the state.

Fubara’s live band kicked into action right after his address at the commencement ceremony for the construction of 20,000 housing units in the Ikwere region of the state.

The live band was heard singing, “Dey your day make I dey my dey, nobody worry nobody, ” to the excitement of the crowd.

Fubara’s recently established live band emerges amidst the political unrest gripping the state.

It’s worth noting that Nyesom Wike, Fubara’s predecessor and the current FCT minister, had a live band during his tenure as the governor of Rivers, led by gospel artist Bamidele Abiye Adeek, popularly known as Sensational Bamidele, who performed Igbo-themed music.

The band is known for singing soothing songs for Wike, with its infamous ‘As e dey pain dem, e dey sweet us’ song.

Bamidele mentioned that the inspiration for his songs typically stems from the occurrences surrounding an event and the governor’s mood.
