The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Sunday called on Nigerians to reaffirm their confidence in President Bola Tinubu as his administration continues to lead major reforms aimed at revitalizing the economy.
This was conveyed in a statement released in Abuja, marking the celebration of this year’s Maulud, a commemoration of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad.
In his message, the APC chairman urged Muslims to reflect on the Prophet’s exemplary life and strive to embody his noble virtues. He also emphasized that the country requires the collective prayers and support of its citizens during this time of reform.
“In the spirit of this season, I encourage all Nigerians to renew their trust and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as he leads a comprehensive agenda for economic revitalization, driven by a deep commitment to transformative change that aims to improve the standard of living for all,” he said.
He further urged APC members to use the occasion to reflect on their faith and renew their dedication to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), calling for unity in building a just, equitable, and peaceful society.
“This significant occasion in the Islamic calendar reminds us of the Prophet’s teachings of peace, love, and compassion. As we celebrate his birth, we must reflect on his exemplary life and strive to emulate his noble qualities.
“The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stood as a beacon of leadership, wisdom, and kindness. His message continues to offer hope and guidance for humanity. As we commemorate his birthday, we must recommit ourselves to upholding the principles of justice, equality, and fairness that he championed,” the statement concluded.
