EFCC nabs 120 suspected fraudsters, seizes 26 vehicles in Lagos

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended 120 suspected internet fraudsters in Lagos State.

In a statement shared on its official X handle on Monday, the commission revealed that operatives from its Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 conducted the coordinated raids at multiple locations across the state.

The operation resulted in the seizure of 26 luxury vehicles, high-end jewelry, mobile phones, laptops, and various incriminating documents.

Among those arrested were 95 males and 25 females, all apprehended based on credible intelligence and sustained surveillance concerning their alleged involvement in cyber-related crimes.

The anti-graft agency noted that all suspects are currently undergoing further investigation and will be charged in court upon the conclusion of the investigative process.
