Adegbodu Kehinde has expressed deep distress after armed gunmen reportedly invaded their residence, demanding gold, Taiwo’s phone, and cash.

The incident occurred just eight days after the burial of Taiwo Adegbodu in their newly completed apartment in Ibadan.

According to reports, the attackers stormed the house around 9 p.m, asking specifically for Taiwo’s room, his phone, and gold, while repeatedly shouting, “Where is Kehinde?”

Sharing his experience in a Facebook video, Kehinde explained that he was in Osun State when his late brother’s wife called him in fear, informing him that armed men had broken into their home searching for valuables, particularly Taiwo’s phone.

“I was in Osun State when my late brother’s wife called, panicking on the phone, that some armed men came into our house asking for gold and money, particularly Taiwo’s phone. I want to use this medium to tell everyone that the money people contributed to us has been used to complete the house, and we still have some other things to do, and we don’t have any money anywhere.”

He further pleaded with the public and the attackers, emphasizing that there were no funds left from the donations they received.

“I will post all the receipts and my account balance for people to see. I know they came for the money fans contributed for us through the help of our father, Dr. Yinka Ayefele. Please don’t harm our children and wives; we don’t have any money left. I don’t normally stay at home, and we are still mourning the death of my brother. Please don’t harm us.”

Kehinde also extended appreciation to supporters, including Prophet Taiwo Ojo, Prophet Sam Ojo, Prophet Samiye, among others, and assured that he would release a proper thanksgiving video to appreciate everyone who contributed and stood by the family.
