Emir of Kano appoints new district heads, promotes others

Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, the Emir of Kano, has appointed four new district heads and promoted six previous district heads to new ranks.

Abubakar Kofar-Na’isa, the Emir’s chief press secretary, said this in a statement on Friday.

The statement claims that the district leaders were chosen based on their individual merits and societal contributions.

Alhaji Sayyadi Muhammad Yola is the Fagacin Kano, Alhaji Bello Idi is the Kaigaman Kano, Alhaji Sayyadi Muhammad Yola is the Dan Darman Kano, and Alhaji Nura Sunusi is the Barayan Kano.

Malam Umar Sunusi-Bunun Kano was promoted to Dan Makwayyon Kano, Malam Ibrahim Hamza Bayero-Dan Madamin Kano was promoted to Dan Ruwatan Kano, and Malam Lamido Abubakar Bayero-Yariman Kano was promoted to Bunun Kano.

Alhaji Bello Habibu Dankadai-Fagacin Kano to Katikan Kano, Alhaji Magaji-Galadima Kachallan Kano to Magayakin Kano, and Alhaji Aminu Ahmad Sadiq-Zamnan Kano to Dan Madanin Kano are the others.

The appointed chiefs were admonished by Emir Byaero to carry out their tasks with honesty, trust, and the highest fear of Allah and to be good ambassadors of the state and emirate wherever they are.
