The funeral plans for late Big Brother Naija star, Rico Swavey have been made public by his family.
Rico, who was born Patrick Adebowale Fakoya, was involved in a car accident and put on life support as a result. On Thursday, October 13, 2022, two days after the incident, he passed away.
Plans for his funeral were announced on Tuesday via Twitter in a statement that was endorsed by his family and management team.
“With a heavy heart, we invite all friends and fans of Rico Swavey to his tribute night/candle light walk tomorrow as we witness a star supernova. Thank you all,” the caption read.
On Wednesday at Retro Citi in Victoria Island, Lagos, there will be a night of tribute and a candlelight procession.
On Thursday, there will be a private ceremony held in the Methodist Church of the Trinity in Tinubu Square.
The deceased will be laid to rest at Ebony Vaults in Ikoyi shortly after the funeral service.
