Supplementary Elections: Fawekun wins Ido/Osi I seat in Ekiti Assembly

Abiodun Fawekun, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, won the supplementary election for Ido/Osi Constituency I in the Ekiti State House of Assembly on Saturday.

According to a statement issued by INEC’s Head of Voter Education and Publicity in Ekiti State, Temitope Akanmu, Fawekun received 4,764 votes to defeat his closest rival, Muyiwa Ishola of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), who received 4,204 votes.

The supplementary election was held at three polling stations located throughout the local government area.
