The Federal Government has terminated the appointments of all directors within civil aviation agencies in the country, following the removal of the chief executive officers from the same organizations.

In a communication conveyed to Channels Television by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, the Federal Government has directed all impacted directors to promptly hand over their duties to the most senior officers in their respective directorates.

The statement, signed by the minister’s spokesperson, Odutayo Oluseyi, outlined that the affected agencies encompass the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Nigeria Meteorological Agency (NiMET), Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), and the Nigeria Safety and Investigation Bureau (NSIB).
