FG hikes exchange rate for cargo clearance to N951/$

The Central Bank of Nigeria, on behalf of the Federal Government, Raises Cargo Clearance Exchange Rate from N783/$ to N952/$.

This adjustment comes just three weeks after the rate was elevated from N757/$ to N783/$.

It was reported in November that the exchange rate for cargo clearance had been raised from N757 per dollar to N783 per dollar, marking a 3.4% increase.

However, as of Thursday, our correspondent noted that the new rate is now visible on the Nigeria Customs Service portal.
