A fire outbreak incident has been recorded at the St. Peter’s Minor Seminary, Kateri, which is located on the Kaduna-Abuja Road in Kaduna State.
A report by the Nigeria Catholic Network claims that the incident happened on Monday.

According to a press release from the Kaduna Archdiocesan Chancellor, Fr. Christian Emmanuel, the fire destroyed two dorm rooms, a dining area, a kitchen, and a laboratory.
However, at the time of the news report, it was unclear what started the fire.
The chancellor said, “Further information will be communicated in due course.”
