Fire razes Canadian Embassy, two fatally injured

A fire has broken out at the Canadian High Commission in Nigeria, located in Abuja’s Central Business District.

Confirming the occurrence, the FCT Fire Service’s Head of Operations, Amiola Adebayo, stated that two individuals were killed in the incident, while three or four more casualties were rushed to hospitals.

“Yes, it is true. “We have two fatalities and three or four people in the hospital,” he said.

Adebayo, however, did not state the cause of the fire incident or whether the affected victims were foreign expatriates or Nigerian citizens.
