Flooding: Royal Garden Estate consolidates on community drainage

The Royal Garden Estate, Oke-Ata, Abeokuta, Ogun State has consolidated efforts on massive drainage to rid the community of impending flooding.It has described it as a social service for community development.
According to the Chairman of the Community Development Association (CDA), Alhaji Nofiu Tiamiyu, “all hands must be on deck to rid our community of impending flooding which could pose dangers to lives and property”, noting that continual downpour had necessitated the proactive steps by the executive members of the community.
He stressed that “we cannot wait for the government to do everything. Government begins with each family and community”.
Recall that Royal Garden Estate had recently declared a state of emergency on flooding in its community for safety of lives and property.
