Former APC National Auditor exit party

George Moghalu, a founding member and the first National Auditor of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has officially resigned from the party, citing personal reasons for his decision.

Moghalu, who previously served as the Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), announced his resignation in a letter addressed to the chairman of Uruagu Ward 1 in Nnewi, located in Nnewi North LGA, Anambra State.

The letter, titled “Resignation of Membership of the APC,” was also copied to the local government and state chairmen of the party. In the three-paragraph letter dated August 26, 2024, Moghalu stated, “I bring you good wishes from my family and wish to formally notify you of my decision to resign from the APC, effective today, August 26, 2024.

“Please accept this as my personal decision. It is my sincere hope that we will continue to maintain the cordial relationship we have built over the years.

“I wish you and all the members of the party the very best. Please accept, as always, the assurance of my highest regards.”
