Former Head of Service Adamu Fika buried in Kaduna

Adamu Fika, the former Head of Service to the Federation who died on Wednesday, was put to rest in Kaduna State.

The former Chief of Staff died at the age of 90.

Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, a prominent Islamic cleric, led the burial prayer at the Sultan Bello Mosque in Kaduna State’s capital.

Among those present at the funeral prayer were the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, who led the Federal Government team, and Babagana Kingibe, a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

In his tribute on behalf of President Bola Tinubu, Ribadu described the late Adamu Fika as a patriotic Nigerian who contributed immensely to the development of the country especially the civil service.

The late Fika served as a Permanent Secretary of the Police Affairs Department, Ministry of Communication and Federal Capital Territory.
