Four arrested at UK prime minister’s constituency home

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of trespassing on the grounds of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s constituency home.

North Yorkshire Police reported that the men were apprehended “within one minute of entering the grounds” of Kirby Sigston Manor near Northallerton.

The arrests took place at around 12:40 BST, and the men were subsequently escorted off the property, according to the officers.

The men, aged 52 from London, 43 from Bolton, 21 from Manchester, and 20 from Chichester, are still in police custody for questioning as investigations continue, the police added.
