Frank Edoho returns as host of who wants to be a millionaire
Show host and broadcaster, Frank Edoho has been unveiled as the host of popular Television game show, ‘Who wants to be a millionaire (WWTBAM)
This was revealed by the organisers of the game show on Sunday night at an event at the Federal palace hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, to inform the public of the return of the game show since it went off air in 2017.
According to the organizers, the new season will be broadcasted for 52 weeks and the sum of N20 million naira will be won.
The theme of this season is tagged “The Rebirth” and it has a new lifeline called “Asking The Host” to help participants when they are at cross roads with questions.
With it are other lifeline elements such as “50-50”, “Call a Friend”, and “Ask the Audience”.
Speaking at the event in Lagos was the Managing Director of UP, Agada Apochi who said that the show is rebranded to thrill the audience.
“We are sponsoring Who Wants to Be a Millionaire to entertain, educate and excite Nigerians. The return of WWTBAM is coming with a bang that would create lasting memories in the audience’s minds. It is going to keep them on the edge of their seats as new millionaires emerge from the show,” he said.
Frank Edoho had hosted the show from its inception on October 8, 2004 debut until September 2, 2017 when he exited by announcing on Twitter that he would no longer host the show due to the fact that he was unable to reach an agreement with the organisers of the show on certain conditions.
On Monday morning, Frank Edoho announced his return to the show in a post on his official Twitter handle and appreciated fans and well-wishers.
