The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has refuted false reports circulating on social media regarding an ongoing recruitment exercise, describing them as misleading.

In a statement issued by the Corps Public Education Officer, Assistant Corps Marshal Olusegun Ogungbemide, the FRSC clarified that it is not currently recruiting and has no plans to initiate any recruitment process in the near future.

Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed urged the public and job seekers to disregard the fraudulent claims, stressing that all legitimate recruitment activities by the FRSC are carried out transparently and announced through official channels, including the Corps’ website, social media accounts, and National Traffic Radio 107.1FM.

He also warned against engaging with scammers posing as FRSC representatives, stating that the Corps will not be liable for any losses suffered by victims of such fraud.

The FRSC reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining integrity and transparency in its recruitment processes and advised the public to report any suspicious activities or communications to the relevant authorities.

For official updates, the public is encouraged to visit the FRSC’s website at www.frsc.gov.ng or contact the Corps through its official email.
