Ademola Lookman, Barbra Banda, and Ronwen Williams emerged as the top winners at the 2024 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Awards held in Marrakech, Morocco, on Monday.
The event celebrated Africa’s finest performers of the year.
Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman, who plays for Atalanta, was named the CAF Player of the Year (Men).
Zambia’s Barbra Banda, representing Orlando Pride, clinched the CAF Player of the Year (Women) award.
South African goalkeeper Ronwen Williams, from Mamelodi Sundowns, secured the CAF Goalkeeper of the Year (Men) title.
Other standout winners included Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie as CAF Goalkeeper of the Year (Women) and Senegal’s Lamine Camara as CAF Young Player of the Year (Men).
