Full list of BBNaija housemates who voluntarily left reality show

Over the years, Big Brother Naija has recorded several unexpected departures, with contestants leaving the reality show through eviction, disqualification and, in some instances, voluntary withdrawal.

Although most housemates remain in the competition until they are evicted or make it to the finale, a few have opted to end their BBNaija journey on their own terms.

Here is a look at the housemates who have voluntarily exited the main BBNaija show.

Kayvee

Gbolahan Ololade, popularly known as Kayvee, was among the first BBNaija housemates to voluntarily withdraw from the competition.

He participated in the sixth season of the reality show, tagged Shine Ya Eye, in 2021.

Kayvee left the house on medical grounds after experiencing health-related concerns during his stay.

His departure came relatively early in the competition, bringing his BBNaija journey to an end before he had the opportunity to fully settle into the show.

Sabrina Idukpaye

Sabrina Idukpaye became the second housemate to voluntarily leave the main BBNaija reality show.

She featured in Season 10, tagged 10/10, in 2025.

Her decision to withdraw was connected to health concerns. Sabrina reportedly experienced persistent pain in her leg and was advised to leave the house to undergo further medical evaluation.

Her exit consequently ended her chances of competing for the season’s grand prize.

Neche

Neche is the latest housemate to voluntarily withdraw from BBNaija.

She participated in Season 11, tagged Show Ya Sef, in 2026.

On August 16, 2026, Big Brother announced that Neche had chosen to leave the reality show voluntarily, adding another unexpected development to the ongoing season.

Unlike the previous voluntary exits, the organisers did not disclose a specific medical reason for Neche’s decision, stating instead that she left due to “pressing personal matters” that required her immediate attention.
