The Kano State Federal High Court has set September 22 as the date for its decision on the petition filed by former Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, which seeks to prevent the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission from investigating him.
On Tuesday, the anti-graft agency’s counsel, Femi Falana, SAN, argued that the former governor’s immunity expired on May 29 and that no court in the country should grant protection to him, his family, or his cabinet.
In response, Ganduje’s counsel contended that due process was not being followed, so violating his fundamental human rights.
