The Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba, Iba Gani Adams, over the weekend tied the knot with his new wife, Joy.
Joy, a graduate in Physiology from Delta State University, is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree.
She previously held the titles of Miss Delta, Most Beautiful Girl in Urhobo land in 2012, and was a former Queen of Delta State.
The private ceremony took place at the bride’s residence in Lagos.
Family, friends, and associates of the Yoruba generalissimo gathered for an intimate engagement and traditional wedding ceremony to celebrate this joyous occasion with the bride and groom.
The groom’s party at the wedding was led by the Oba of Shasha kingdom in Lagos State, Oba Babatunde Ogunronbi, Ariwajoye.
Meanwhile, Professor Kolawole Raheem, the Parakoyi Aareonakakanfo of Yorubaland, headed other members of the Aare-In-Council. This included Chief Babajide Tanimowo, Atoloye Aareonakakanfo of Yoruba land, Dauda Asikolaye, Barejiro Aare Onakakanfo of Yorubaland, Chief Yinka Oguntimehin, Asoju Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba land, Chief Kazeem Hamzat.
Additional attendees encompassed Mr. Olusegun Ajiboye, the former Chief Press Secretary to Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, members of the Olokun Festival Foundation (OFF), Ambassador Olugbenga Onasanya, as well as Aare’s aides on Media (Kehinde Aderemi, Special Duties), Samson Oseni, Tolu Ajibade, and others.
