Additionally, the demonstrators highlighted the soaring prices of food, posing considerable challenges for numerous Nigerians in providing sustenance for their families.
The demonstrators aim to capture the focus of both Tinubu and the government through their protest, shedding light on these urgent concerns. Furthermore, they urge the government to take substantial measures to alleviate the hardships faced by the people and enhance the overall economic conditions of the country.
While the protest has remained peaceful thus far, there is apprehension that it may escalate into violence if the government fails to address the demands, given the deployment of security personnel at key locations.
