Ghanaian lawyer passes away while marking World cup triumph

Tragedy struck in Ghana after a young lawyer, Sarah Araba Tettey, reportedly lost her life while celebrating the country’s World Cup victory over Panama.

The 26-year-old was said to have been among friends watching the match at a private hostel in Bomso, close to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, when she suddenly collapsed during the excitement that followed the final whistle.

Reports indicate that she was rushed to a medical facility for urgent attention, but doctors were unable to save her.

Tettey, who recently joined the legal profession after being called to the Ghana Bar, was working with O & A Legal Consult at the time of her death.

News of the incident has sparked grief across social media, with many paying tribute to the late lawyer and describing her as a talented professional whose life ended too soon.

Her family has yet to release an official statement, while the cause of her death remains unclear. Her body has reportedly been moved to a mortuary as preparations continue for further arrangements.
