Gunmen strike in Ekiti Community, Abduct Four Farmers

No fewer than four farmers were reportedly kidnapped by suspected gunmen in Ikosun-Ekiti, Moba Local Government Area of Ekiti State.

According reports gathered by Newsclickng.com, the farmers were kidnapped while working on their farmland in the area.

The traditional ruler of the town, Oba Joseph Afolabi Adeoye who confirmed the abduction of the four farmers to newsmen listed the identity of the farmers: Gbadamosi Sarafa, Jimoh, Yinka Adeniran and Seun were all kidnapped at the Agric farm settlement between 5:00 to 6:00pm on Monday, while working on their farmland.

According to the monarch two of those kidnapped, Seun and Jimoh were said to be Bulldozer Operators working in the farm when their abductors suddenly appeared and took them away along with two others who were taken to an unknown destination.
