Have faith in President Tinubu – Minister

The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has urged Nigerians to have faith in President Bola Tinubu’s  administration as it made efforts to address the nation’s challenges.

Idris made these remarks on Wednesday in Kano during an “Iftar” event organized by his ministry for media executives and practitioners.

The minister encouraged Nigerians to remain patient with the government, noting that the administration was diligently addressing challenges. He emphasized that the government had introduced policies and programs aimed at improving the welfare of Nigerians.

Idris urged Nigerians to place their trust and confidence in President Tinubu’s leadership to ensure the successful implementation of these policies and programs.

In particular, Idris highlighted the administration’s efforts to revitalize the nation’s refineries.

He provided assurance that the rehabilitation of the Port Harcourt Refinery would be finalized shortly, and production would commence.

The minister criticized the mismanagement of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) by its previous leadership, highlighting how the institution had suffered as a result.

He stated that under Tinubu’s administration, the apex bank had regained its former prestige through the implementation of appropriate policies.

“The renewed hope agenda of Mr President has started yielding positive results,because the economy of the nation is gradually being  revived and the challenges will soon be over,” he said.

Idris, urged journalists to be objective in their reportage of government’s policies and programmes aimed at moving the nation forward.
