How Police nabbed three suspected kidnappers, rescued victim in Rivers State

Operatives of Rivers Police Command have arrested three suspected kidnappers from an uncompleted building they were using as their hideout in Obelle community of Emohua local Government Area of the state.

The suspects were arrested on Tuesday 10th January 2023 based on credible intelligence available to operatives of Rumuji Police Division of Emohua LGA.

Based on the intelligence, operatives of the Division mobilized patrol Teams and raided the enclave of the suspect during which one of their victim identified as Martin Nze, 37 of Awka, Anambra State, was rescued, and his car, a Toyota Corolla was recovered and taken to the police station.

In press statement SP Grace Iringe-Koko, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO identified the suspects as Vincent Sunday, Ekene Micheal and Mohammed Oluwasegun.

Also, one single barrel Dane Gun was recovered from the suspects.

The police spokesperson said the suspect will be charged in court once the investigations are completed.
