Daniel Bwala, an adviser to the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate for the 2023 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, says he receives 30 calls every day from distressed Nigerians asking assistance.
On Sunday, Bwala announced this using his verified Twitter handle.
The Atiku spokeswoman lamented the country’s current level of suffering.
Bwala, a former federal senator, bemoaned the country’s high cost of basic necessities such as food, transportation, products and services, medical care, and school tuition.
He stated, “Nigerians are suffering; men, this is too much. High cost of everything; food items, transportation, goods and services, medicals, school fees.
“No day I get less than 30 calls, people are asking for just these simple things to survive in a nation endowed with every riches in natural and human resources. God help us.”
