The late Nigerian music icon, Onyeka Onwenu, popularly known as the “Elegant Stallion,” will be laid to rest today in Lagos.
The singer passed away on July 30, 2024, at Reddington Hospital in Ikeja, after collapsing at an event honoring Dr. Stella Okoli, the Managing Director of Emzor Pharmaceuticals.
According to the family’s burial arrangements, her funeral service will take place at the Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, followed by a private burial at a vault in Ikoyi.

Additionally, a funeral flyer indicates that the Service of Songs is scheduled from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, with the burial set to take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
She is survived by her two sons.
