I’ll be ready to fight in December, Joshua responds to Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua has stated that he will be prepared to face Tyson Fury, the current world champion in December 2022.

This was stated by the British boxer in response to a Monday public challenge for a “Battle of Britain.”

Oleksandr Usyk of Ukraine defeated Joshua in their August title rematch in Saudi Arabia.

The 32-year-old appears keen to fight again before 2022 comes to an end, though.

Fury had said, “Anthony Joshua, I know you’ve just lost a fight to Usyk and you’re bout-less at the moment, and I’d like to give you an opportunity to fight me for the WBC heavyweight championship of the world and the lineal championship in the next few months.”

On his Instagram story, Joshua reacted, stating that if Fury was sincere and not just participating in online discourse, he would be willing to fight.

“I don’t do online discussions just for clout.

“So if you’re really about it, shout @258mgt (the boxer’s management company). I’ll be ready in December.”
