The Olu of Imasayi, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Rtn) Lukman Olalekan Adeleke Kuoye, has advised Engr. Temitope Kuyebi and Prince Nurudeen Ayelotan, to conduct their political consultations/aspirations with great maturity and deep love of brotherhood that can also be emulated by those coming behind.

Oba Kuoye disclosed this on Friday when Kuyebi and Ayelotan paid him visit to declared their intention to vie for a member of the House of Representatives, Yewa North/Imeko-Afon Federal Constituency.

According to Kabiyesi, their visit coincided with the monthly Imasayi Council of Chiefs and appreciate them for seeing it important to consult with the Council before going out for further consultations.

KABIYESI, vehemently praised the two prominent sons for their courage and determinations to launch Imasayi into the political relevance in Yewa North Local Government Area, and Ogun State in general. He agreed with the two leading political figures in the town that Imasayi has been obviously shortchanged in the sharing of elective and political appointments in the past, which will surely be addressed.

He implored the two great sons to conduct their political consultations/aspirations with great maturity and deep love of brotherhood that can also be emulated by those coming behind, and also advised their supporters to shun any statement or acts that will create unnecessary dichotomy amongst the two aspirants.

KABIYESI emphasized that the two of them are his highly valued sons that are highly recognised in the political gamings in the town and beyond.

He however advised that, whoever invariably emerges as the party’s flagbearer should see his victory as victory for Imasayi and the entire Federal Constituency. The winner must also be humble in victory and whoever loses must be magnanimous in defeat.

He however assured them that Imasayi indigenes will invariably decide and whatever the indigenes decide remains the stand of the town, Olu added.

“All indigenes of Imasayi Kingdom are equally advised to see each other as brothers and sisters in the act of politics, and there must not be any reason(s) to fight each other over the two brothers’ aspirations for whatever reasons”.

The political relevance and prosperity of imasayi town is sacrosanct in the coming political dispensation and we must have unity of purpose without any form of animosity and acrimony.

One love and unity of purpose must be the driving philosophies of all indigenes of imasayi at all times regardless of their political differences, Kabiyesi remarked.

Meanwhile, Engr Temitope Kuyebi has appealed to the people of Yewa North/Imeko Afon Federal Constituency to choose their representative wisely.

VIDEO: DEAR GREAT PEOPLE OF YEWA NORTH/IMEKO AFON FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY

The God time is now, the time to choose who will speak our mind in the green chamber; and the only task at this is exactness of picking the personality that will truly speak our voice.

We have over the years been shortchanged and jilted of our mandates as well as our expectations and hope dashed. The question is do we want to continue in such tread?

It is the ripe time to collectively, openly and holistically throw our weight behind and show unflinching support for ENGR. TEMITOPE KUYEBI to represent us at Federal Constituency ABUJA 2023.
