Controversial crossdresser, Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, has been transferred to the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos State.

A police source informed Channels Television that the transfer followed Bobrisky’s arrest by the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) on Monday.

This development comes after a statement by the NIS on Monday night, confirming the arrest of the social media personality while attempting to leave Nigeria.

NIS spokesman, DCI KT Udo, described Bobrisky as a person of interest due to recent matters of public concern.

Udo said, “He is undergoing interrogation and will be handed over to the appropriate authorities for further action.

“The Service assures the public that it will continue to be civil and professional in its statutory responsibility of manning the country’s borders.”
