The Ondo Deputy Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has sincerely apologized to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu for the ongoing political crisis and the embarrassment it has caused the state.
Aiyedatiwa, affirming that certain political contenders within the state were inciting or exacerbating the conflict, emphasized his unwavering loyalty to the governor and his administration.
The deputy governor made this statement during a conversation with reporters at his office in Akure, the capital of the state.
He said, “I am deeply saddened by the embarrassment and discomfort that Mr. Governor has faced due to the barrage of negative news in the state as a result of the events of the last few months. I tender my sincere apology to Mr. Governor on this as our leader in the state.”
