Indian PM Narendra Modi to attend major AI event in France

The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has confirmed that he will be attending a major Artificial Intelligence (AI) event which is going to be held on 10-11 February in Paris, France.  

The French President, Mr. Emmanuel Macron on in his X-post message, has greeted the Indian Prime Minister saying, “Dear friend” Modi on India’s Republic Day my congratulations to you and the Indian people. Looking forward to seeing you in France in February for the Summit on Action for Artificial Intelligence.”

Macron also recalled his presence as the chief guest at the Republic Day parade in 2024. He further said that it was a great moment of friendship he shared with the Indian PM in 2024.

In response to the Republic Day greetings sent to him by the French President, the PM said, “Your kind greetings on India’s 76th Republic Day are deeply appreciated. Your august presence last year on this day was indeed a high point in our strategic partnership and enduring friendship. See you soon at the AI Action Summit in Paris as we work together for a better future for humanity.”

According to the reports, over 100 countries and 1000 private sector and civil society representatives all over the world are going to participate in this event. However, this will be Narendra Modi’s first visit to France in his third term as Indian Prime Minister. There is a possibility of the PM Modi meeting US President Donald Trump if the US President also attends the event.
