The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has postponed the state collation of results for the Bayelsa governorship election.
Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta, the Returning Officer for the election and Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Minna, made this announcement late Saturday at the INEC Collation Centre in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

He stated that the collation will now resume at 10:00 am on Sunday. Most parts of the election in the state had concluded on Saturday evening.
Similarly, INEC has declared that the collation of results for the Off-Cycle Governorship Elections in Kogi State will commence at 10 am on Sunday.
The announcement was made at the state’s Collation Centre in Lokoja by the Commission.
