Insecurity: Tinubu, Govs hold emergency meeting over Economic crisis

President Bola Tinubu is meeting with the federation’s governors at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.

The meeting, which began about 11:30 a.m., is also attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FTC) Chief Nyesom Wike, and Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun.

The gathering is not unrelated to the growing national concern over rising food prices, insecurity, and other economic difficulties.

This meeting will be followed by the monthly meeting of the National Economic Council (NEC), headed over by Vice President Shettima.
