The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has refuted claims of its involvement in the admission process for Higher National Diploma (HND) students.
In a statement issued by the board’s spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, JAMB clarified that it has no role, authority, or control over HND admissions.
The statement emphasized that JAMB is not responsible for any admissions processes outside of its regular scope.
The board also noted that HND admissions fall outside JAMB’s mandate and are therefore irrelevant to its operations.
This response comes after some HND students alleged that JAMB was responsible for their inability to participate in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) due to their part-time National Diploma (ND) programme.
