Fans in Chicago were delighted to spot renowned American actor Jamie Foxx during a boat cruise on Sunday.

Videos capturing the moment have been circulating online, showing the actor waving at fans while driving past in a speed boat, eliciting cheers from the onlookers.

This public appearance comes after Foxx’s recent medical emergency in April, during which he was hospitalized for several weeks.

The sighting marks his first public appearance since the incident occurred. At the time, Foxx was filming “Back in Action” alongside his co-star Cameron Diaz when he suddenly required urgent medical attention and was rushed to the hospital.

While Jamie Foxx’s family and friends kept the details of his condition private, they requested prayers from well-wishers.

In May, a viral report caused increased concern among fans, suggesting that Foxx’s health had deteriorated critically and his family was preparing for the worst.

However, Foxx’s daughter, Corinne, stepped forward to dispel these rumors. She clarified that her 55-year-old father had returned home from the hospital after a few weeks and was in good health. She also announced that he was ready to resume work and shared news about the upcoming launch of their new game show, “We Are Family.”

Apart from expressing gratitude to fans on his social media pages, the actor himself is yet to officially address the health issue.
