JUST IN: Aiyedatiwa nominates Ex-NASS Deputy Clerk Adelami as deputy

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has named Chief Olayide Owolabi Adelami, the former Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly, as his deputy governor, just six hours after the Ondo State Executive Council was dissolved.

Adelami is a former APC governorship candidate for 2020.

Aiyedatiwa has consequently forwarded his name to the state House of Assembly for approval.

Ebenezer Adeniyan, the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, has confirmed the deputy governor’s candidature.

Adelami, from Owo, retired from the National Assembly in April 2018.
