Salihu Dembos has been appointed as the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Television Authority by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the minister of information and culture, made the announcement of the appointment in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.
He stated that the first term of the appointment is three years.

Mr. Dembos served as the NTA’s Executive Director of Marketing prior to his appointment.
Over the course of his 20-year career, Mr. Dembos has worked in the media.
He has held a number of positions including Zonal Director at NTA in Kaduna and General Manager of two NTA Stations in Lokoja and Kano.
