Justice Inyang Ekwo at the Federal High Court in Abuja has approved bail for Willie Obiano, the former governor of Anambra State.
He directed that the former governor be confined within the court’s jurisdiction.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission was instructed to deposit the defendant’s travel documents with the court registrar.

The prosecution counsel, Slyvanus Tahir, SAN, requested the court to detain the former governor.
Following this, the case was adjourned to March 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th for the continuation of the trial.
