JUST IN: Gov Sanwo-Olu casts vote in Lagos LG polls

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has participated in the ongoing local government elections by casting his vote.

He arrived alongside his wife, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, at polling units 06 and 07 located at St. Stephen Nursery and Primary School on Adeniji Adele Road, Lagos Island, at around 11 a.m.

The governor cast his vote at exactly 11:28 a.m.

The elections are being conducted to fill chairmanship, vice-chairmanship, and councillorship seats across the 20 local government areas (LGAs) and 37 local council development areas (LCDAs) in Lagos State.
