The chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, Philip Aivoji, along with several other party leaders, has been kidnapped by unidentified gunmen.
On Thursday, reports indicate that they were abducted in the Ogere area of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Philip, along with fellow party members, was reportedly abducted while returning from the party’s Stakeholders’ Zonal Caucus Meeting held in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
Reports state that the kidnappers are requesting a ransom of N200 million for the release of the party leaders.
