The Plateau Police Command has confirmed herdsmen killed 10 persons and burnt 30 houses in the early Friday attack on Ta’agbe village of Miango, Bassa Local Government Area.
The spokesman of the command ASP Gabriel Ubah confirmed this in a statement in Jos.

Ubah said on receiving the information, the Police Commissioner CP Bartholomew Onyeka and other senior officers of the command immediately moved to the scene of the incident for an on-the-spot assessment.
He said the CP has directed for discreet investigation and assured the community of his readiness to fish out the perpetrators of the barbaric act.
